Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA)

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) is a government agency in South Korea responsible for public health and safety. It was previously known as the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC). The KDCA was established to prevent and control infectious diseases, conduct research on public health, and provide health-related information and services to the public. The agency is also responsible for responding to public health emergencies, such as disease outbreaks or natural disasters, and coordinating with other government agencies and international organizations to protect public health.
