Thailand Malaria Dashboard

This showcase presents an interactive dashboard built on Thailand's weekly malaria surveillance data, compiled from the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand, and published through the GFID platform.

Malaria remains a focus of elimination efforts in Thailand, concentrated in border and forested provinces. The dashboard brings together years of case reports so users can track where and when transmission occurs. Use the filters (Year, Week, Province) to explore the data, and review:

  • Total patients and average cases per year
  • Count by Week — seasonal transmission patterns
  • Share by Year and Count by Year — long-term trends and progress toward elimination
  • Top provinces — geographic hotspots (often border areas)
  • Average by Week — typical weekly intensity

All figures are aggregated from the underlying surveillance dataset; the raw records remain access-controlled while these summary statistics are shared for public insight. Data updates automatically when the source resource is refreshed.
